Boxing: A successful end of season for Holyhead's Red Dragon ABC

RED Dragon ABC’s Dale Fleming was a beaten finalist in the recent British Youth Championships in Edinburgh.

Boxing at 52kg, Holyhead’s Fleming won his semi against the Scottish champion but lost in the final to English titlist Quis Ashfaq.

Kazim Ghani, in the 48kg class, lost to old foe and English champion Conor Nixon in his semi.

Akeel Ghani will compete in the Junior Championships  in Liverpool at 48kg on June  27 and 28 and this will round off a successful season for the Red Dragon Boxers.

All three Holyhead lads won the Welsh CYPs and scooped silver in the British CYPs.
