ELEVEN unanswered tries were run in by a dominant Bethesda side which led 34-0 at half time.

Pesda eased off in the second stanza and had to play the last quarter with seven forwards because of an injury to number eight Dylan Hughes.

Bethesda’s try scorers were Iwan Hywel (2), Steven Ellis (2), Meirion Williams (2), Iestyn Roberts, Llion Lloyd and Iwan Williams.

The referee awarded two penalty tries to the hosts, Iestyn Roberts kicked three conversions and Meirion Williams one.

The previous week Pesda kicked off their season with an impressive 39-3 victory at Wrexham.

Bethesda are away at Aberystwyth University on Saturday in round one of the Swalec Cup.
