Holyhead band Through Colour release CD

ISLAND rockers Through Colour’s much anticipated debut mini album, will be released early next month. Dream in Black and White includes the Holyhead-based band’s massive track Kids of Cancer, coveted not only by Radio 1 but also by Welsh rockers, The Blackout.

Recorded at Longwave Studios and produced by Romesh Dodangoda, who has worked with the likes of Kids in Glass Houses, Manic Street Preachers and Bullet for my Valentine, the five-piece band are proud of what they have achieved on their debut and are eagerly anticipating its release.

After four years or writing and performing under the name of My Turn To Kill, the band felt their gradual change in musical style deserved a more fitting name, as the band were often misconceived by the music industry and music fans to be a genre they clearly were not.

Born from a collective love of creating catchy music and aspirations of reinvigorating the North Wales rock scene, Dream in Black and White represents a fresh start for Through Colour.

While 2009 has been busy for the band due to creative reasons, 2010 looks set to be even busier with a nationwide album tour penned for early in the year, followed by big support slots for Enter Shikari, The Blackout and Fightstar.

The album is due for release on Monday, December 7.
