THE talented Sarah Louise launches her album at a small gig held in Cofi Roc next week on June 25, 8pm.
The third album, titled Â'r Goll (Lost) produces a ray of acoustic folk tracks, experimenting with chilled, relaxing sounds and bigger, bolder album entries.
Local radio stations have started playing Sarah Louise Owen’s tracks this week: Hogan A’r Goll and Rhywbeth Gwell.
Sarah Louise Owen says "At the moment my favourite song from my new album is Mwy Than Hyn. It tells the story of getting over a lover. Instead of the expected acoustic sound I played with a big sound to create a unique look on things."
The Caernarfon-based singer tells of her recording experience for Â'r Goll and how different it was to her past recording experiences.
She says: "The recording went well for this album and I did enjoy it. With my other albums, I recorded them in big studios. But this time it was in a small room but with people I know."
Sarah Louise’s first Welsh album, Tir Na Nog was released in 2005, leading her to record an English album in Canada, Skin Deep for a month in 2007.
Sarah announced her move to Cardiff this week to spread her music talents.
"As North Wales is more Welsh based than the south in general, I believe my English music will be more successful there. We shall see how it goes!"
The Cofi Roc small concert will be launching the singer’s album, therefore many copies will be available to purchase on the night.
Tickets £5.
