A blend of styles at Gwynedd's Fort Belan Music Week

CAERNARFON’S Fort Belan Music Week gets classical this summer with two concerts from nationally acclaimed Sacconi String quartet and White Water from June 28 to July 5.

On June 30, 7pm, the Scottish Ceilidh band, White Water will play their orchestra trained folk music to audiences of all ages. As they are a Ceilidh band, fans will be able to dance along to the music as well as sit.

All the players are members of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and have played at the Royal Albert Hall.

The successful Sacconi string quartet make a stop on their UK tour in Fort Belan to play well known pieces from Bach, Haydn & Beethoven.

Sacconi string quartet tour until December 6 throughout the UK with the renowned classical-jazz trio, Acoustic Triangle.

Sacconi have also hosted their own string quartet class at the Aberystwyth MusicFest.

A buffet supper will also be provided to Friends of Belan Association (FOBA) members and other ticket holders.

Everyone is welcome to the events hosted and wheelchair access is available.

White Water concert tickets are £12.00, FOBA members pay £10.00.Children £6.00.

Tickets for the Sacconi String quartet cost £15.00, with FOBA members paying £12.00.

Buffet supper is extra, tickets costing £30.00 for non members, FOBA members pay £27.00.
