Stars including Only Men Aloud, Ysgol Glanaethwy and tenor Rhys Meirion will be performing in Mold in aid of the children’s hospice, Ty Gobaith.

Comedy fans are in for a treat when Gwyl Gobaith kicks off on June 26 at Plas Gwysaney with a line-up of star comics, including Jason Manford, Tudur Owen, Silky and Milton Jones.

The following night, classical music and opera performances will be given by Rhys Meirion, Shan Cothi, David Keptster, the London International Orchestra and many more talented acts.

On June 28, Only Men Aloud will take to the stage, alongside talented choirs from Ysgol Glanaethwy, Trelawnyd, Caerwys, North Wales Rugby and Mark Evans. Performances will also be given by Rhys Meirion, Shan Cothi and David Kempster.

The shows on Saturday and Sunday will both end with spectacular fireworks displays.

Organiser and performer, Rhys Meirion said: "I’m looking forward to the festival, we’ve got an incredible line-up of entertainment with some big names."
