Jimmy Carr at Venue Cymru is not for the faint-hearted

PREPARE for a night of belly aching laughter when stand- up favourite and 8 Out Of 10 Cats star Jimmy Carr comes to the Llandudno Venue Cymru this week on 7-8 June.

Jimmy's brand new tour Joke Technician is playing to sellout audiences across the UK, breaking all previous records and is certainly not to be missed.

With unmistakable Carr sarcasm, Jimmy said: "It's rude, crude and offensive but those aren't the only reasons you'll enjoy it. It’s not for the faint-hearted, the faint-hearted should also avoid salt."

One of the most original and distinctive stars on television, radio and the stage, Jimmy debuted his Joke Technician tour at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year and has been performing around the UK ever since.

True to his reputation as the UK's hardest working comedian extra dates are continually being added. Jimmy said: "There’s nothing else really I want to do, if I’m doing a gig, I drive there, which takes a couple of hours, mooch about, look around the town, have a coffee and a bite to eat and wherever I go in the country I meet people.'

With appearances on The Charlotte Church Show, Have I Got News For You, The Graham Norton Show and QI , it seems people just can’t get enough of Jimmy.

A household name in the UK, Jimmy is also a rising star in the US, recently performing a second Comedy Central Special and also appearing on NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien – his fifth appearance to date.

But the Hounslow- born comedian is refusing to let the fame go to his head: "In showbusiness I’m the lowest tier aren’t I? Just one step above the clown. People like coming out, watching a show and not being preached to. The reason comedy attendance is up and church attendance is down is that I’m not telling anybody how to live his life."

Jimmy Carr is at Venue Cymru on June 7 and 8. For ticket information contact the Llandudno Venue Cymru on 01492 872000 or visit venuecymru.co.uk
