Anglesey artist exhibits at Beaumaris

AN Anglesey artist is preparing to take up a long residency at the Beaumaris leisure centre with her new exhibit.

Janet Ware’s latest offering features over 70 works inspired by birds entitled Let the Feathers Fly.

As a youngster, Janet spent the early part of her life with only part of her sight.

She has spent over 40 years as a working artist.

Janes said: "I still see abstract colours and quality tones which make my life special as a compensation for my early life where no visual line was possible.

"I painted what I saw and not what others wanted me to see."

Let the Feather’s Fly will run from June 1 until June 26.
