Early tickets for Wakestock Abersoch sell out in minutes

WAKESTOCK 2009 early bird tickets sold out in under an hour on the day they went on sale.

A limited number of 500 went on sale at 9am on December 1, and within the hour they had all gone, a record for the event and a sign of great things to come.

In 2009, Wakestock will be celebrating its 10th birthday and will be held on the weekend of July 10-12, in Penrhos, near Abersoch.

The first one held back in 2000 started off small, with a few hundred people in the overflow yacht club car park in Abersoch, in 2002 it moved to just outside the village to the bigger site at Penrhos, overlooking Cardigan Bay and the Snowdonia mountain range, where it has grown each year and now entertains thousands of people, all enjoying the friendly summer fun in this beautiful part of Wales.

For those who live locally and are keen to attend in 2009, then getting their hands on tickets as soon as they go on sale is a must.

An event such as this can’t beat a good home crowd and audiences will really would be missing out if they don’t get to attend the amazing 10th birthday celebrations!
