AUSSIE drum and base group Pendulum, favourably compared by many to The Prodigy, will hit Venue Cymru next month.
The boys have been busy in the studio over the last 12 months producing their new album In Silico, which debuted at number two in the charts, and refining their electronic rock sound.
With their single Propane Nightmares receiving heavy support from Radio One, this group have been creating a real stir.
They say about themselves: "We spend nearly every waking moment trying to create music that takes you out of this universe for ourselves and anyone else who wants to listen."
The group, which moved to the UK in 2003, comprises Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen, Perry ap Gwynedd, Ben Mount (MC Verse), Paul Harding, and Paul Kodish (live drums).
The Pendulum sound is typically heavy beats accompanied by low, buzzing basslines, overlaid with synthesised leads.
The group has produced various remixes of other artists, the most well-known being their remix of Voodoo People by The Prodigy.
In 2006, Painkiller with the Freestylers was remixed by NOISIA and released on Against the Grain records.
Pendulum will be at Venue Cymru on Saturday, December 13, starting at 7pm.
